Staking + $ASTRID Tokens
The longer you hold + stake your Astrid Park NFT, the more rewards you’ll unlock with $ASTRID tokens! Let’s break it down.
1 day of staking = 1 $ASTRID token
Redeem your $ASTRID tokens for stays at the park, excursions, eats at our snack shack, exclusive merch & other tokens.
Here’s just a few examples of what your tokens can be redeemed for at the park (this is where out utility shines):
400 $ASTRID tokens = 2-night stay in #BillietheBluebird
25 $ASTRID tokens = tacos + a beer at our snack shack
50 $ASTRID tokens = an afternoon surf lesson
How are we making this possible? We’re re-investing a portion of our IRL park profits each year back into the Astrid ecosystem via the token. We’re here to change the utility game & with that, we’re building a project that massively rewards the community that made it possible.

Holding a park pass entitles you to $25 off each camper per night & 25% off all excursions at our current Mississippi Mills location in Canada + at the Tulum location that we’ll be building next. This comes in handy if you’ve used up your $ASTRID tokens for the year but would like a longer stay at the park!
-
After selling out & before our launch date in Tulum, we intend to have a minimum of 15 campers + 10 tents at the park, including the additional & exclusive 3 campers which only park pass holders can book + stay in.
We plan to add treehouses, geo domes & yurts to our accommodation offerings after launching. -

We have a broad theme for each phase set out in the roadmap & we will be putting it to a vote with our community to decide which specific one is chosen.
-
Everything from the themes of campers, the excursions we offer, the non-profits we donate to, the menu at the snack shack - we want you to be a true part of every step along the way.
-
Astrid Park’s opening date depends on how fast we sell out each phase. Our goal is to officially open the park to the public no later than the Fall of 2023, with our launch party happening for NFT holders at the end of Summer, just before that.
Your $ASTRID tokens can be redeemed at our Calabogie location while you await our Tulum launch! -
We’ve put a lot of thought into the sustainability of the park from its inception. We’ve incorporated solar power into each build + we rely on rainwater collection. Additionally, our toilets are all composting - which alone reduce water consumption by up to 30,000 litres per year, per camper. The low impact nature of the park means that we can help meet the demand of tourism in the Riviera Maya region, without displacing people from their homes in favour of Air BnBing or new developments being built. We chose campers as we’re able to restore vintage ones which would otherwise go to scrap yards, but also because we’re not adding to the housing crisis with each additional site. We also have a housing crises where we live, in Canada’s capital, Ottawa - which is why we’ve set the park up this way from the beginning.
The land we’ll be purchasing in Tulum has regulations on it around how much jungle must remain (at least 40%), and because of how small our camper footprints are, we plan to leave at least 60-70% instead. The region has incredibly advanced renewable energy sources that we’ll be harassing with every step of the build out. Our current park model is entirely off-grid, which means we have a wealth of knowledge about having the lowest impact possible on our surroundings. We’ll be bringing this knowledge to Astrid Park in Tulum.
How we currently operate blends in with nature, as opposed to working against it, ultimately creating a space that respects & is built with the environment in mind. In our roadmap, we’ve mapped it out in a way that we can donate at each phase to local causes like jungle preservation, LGBTQ+ non-profits & other organizations in the region which our holders will help us find + vote on.
We will be hiring local staff & paying them far above a liveable wage, in addition to providing them with benefits. We truly want to become a destination where locals are proud to work for these very reasons. This will be a community that Jacquie lives in year round & Lana will live for part of the year, so with that we want it to be one we can contribute to as equals. -
We’re building the Hilton of camper motels, in that we plan to have locations worldwide. We’re already operating in Calabogie & after the Tulum park is established, we’ll be focusing on expanding in these areas next:
Drumheller 🦕
Prince Edward County 🍇
Palm Springs 🌵
Your lifetime park pass will entitle you to redeem your $ASTRID tokens (i.e. rewards for holding your pass) at any of our locations worldwide.
